Control Panel Version 6.61.0.0

Written by Proofpoint Total Protection / August 18, 2026 / Control Panel,Release Note

Enhancements

  • The Upgrade to Hybrid migration page now recommends performing the migration outside business hours when the tenant is in API mode.
  • Microsoft 365 mailboxes that were created manually are now automatically converted into synced mailboxes once a license is detected, and not only during the onboarding.
  • Deny & Allow Lists CSV exports now support description and text-search filters.
  • Deny & Allow Lists entry creation now reports details of entries removed from the opposite list.
  • Added keyboard navigation with arrow keys for browsing results in the scope selector.

Improvements

  • Onboarding no longer fails for customers using Hybrid or API mode because of a permission error when Control Panel set up their default filtering configuration.
  • Hybrid and API mode customers can now turn the Infomail filter on or off in Email Security Settings without running into a save error.
  • Fixed a Security Awareness Training issue that could let a user access another customer’s Teachable Moment statistics.
  • Buttons in Email Details no longer appear inactive and can be clicked again when using certain bright themes.
  • Phishing Reporter and other events in Audit that weren’t linked to a product are now linked correctly and can be filtered.
  • Notifications now use the language configured in Control Panel user settings instead of the browser’s language.
  • Description validation on Deny & Allow Lists imports is now consistent, so invalid rows are reported as errors instead of failing the whole import.
  • Filtering Security Awareness Training statistics by only privacy-protected groups no longer returns data for all groups.
  • Renamed “Hard delete” to “Delete” in Spam and Malware Protection settings and Email Live Tracking for Hybrid mode.
  • For Hybrid customers, rejected emails in Email Details no longer show a misleading note about the email being left in the inbox.
  • The Microsoft permissions upgrade pop-in no longer appears before onboarding is fully completed.
  • The Password length field in Authentication settings is now clearly visible with a dark theme.
  • Allow list imports with “Replace ALL data” no longer remove only the Customer Allowlist while leaving the User Allowlist unchanged.
  • The Service Desk role can no longer turn off the Secure Links module, closing a permissions gap.
  • Standardized the MX records view in the Onboarding wizard to match the view used in Control Panel.
